In addition to hydrogen and oxygen, tap water also contains minerals. For drinking purposes, the abundance of minerals is okay. However, when it comes to cleaning, calcium, magnesium and other minerals naturally found in tap water, not to mention fluoride, remain on the glass when the water, leaving white spots or patina.

Step 2: Agitate

When the water is purified, The first step is to agitate the window, using a soft brush head designed specifically for cleaning windows and frames. By scrubbing the window frames, seals and glass, the airborne debris build-up is loosened. The pure water fired from the jets within the brush head then attracts the loose dirt, due to the loss of ions in the filtration process.

Step 1: Purification

Using technology developed by NASA, and then adapted for use in industry, tap water is forced at high pressure through a series of filters, including sediment and carbon based filtration, reverse osmosis membranes and deionising resin, which results in a very pure form of water.
